Varian Associates Inc. was selected to supply the new NMR system 600 MHz (14,1 Tesla) of the Research Federation. The public call for proposal was launched on January 9, 2004 and published to the Official Journal of the European Communities Jan. 14, 2004 (2004/S9-007551). The market was officially adjudicated by Université Claude Bernard - Lyon 1, after the current formal delay in France of 52 days.

The Installation will start the second week of April 2004, at the Research Federation NMR facility, ground floor of bldg 308, aisle C.  Works to meet both the safety and the NMR constraints, are beeing achieved in the room 34 to receive properly the new NMR system and the associated automate (sample changer for 50 NMR cells).

8-3-2004 The Research Federation hold its second Council to state on the current actions and the projects of the new  Masters of Sciences and Technologies related to Analytical Sciences planned to open at Université Claude Bernard - Lyon 1, september 2004.

06-2-2004 - INVITATION TO THE 9th SYMPOSIUM ON BIOCHROMATOGRAPHY

The Society for BioChromatography and Nanoseparations (SBCN, formerly ESBC) 9th Symposium will be held in Bordeaux, France, 5-7 May 2004. "From nanoseparations to macropurifications" will be the theme of the Symposium. The symposium aims to showcase the progress of separation sciences, in addition to bringing together academic and industry scientists and cultivating a new generation of scientists. A wide range of cutting-edge topics, from protein separation by nano- and micro-methods to various applications of biochromatography to preparative
purposes will be covered, including plenary invited lectures by eminent specialists, speaker sessions and poster sessions. There will also be an industrial exhibition showcasing the latest products in biomolecule separation. More details on the contributions can be found in the SBCN Symposium website (http://bioseparation.free.fr/Symposium/)

Professeur et Président de la Section de Pharmacie

2003-11-20 - Our web pages are now indexed at http://www.sfrpsa.univ-lyon1.fr/SFRPSA/index_e.html, the version in English is also initiated.  Please report the inconsistencies...

pages www de la SFR PSA Lyon, France

2003-11-13 - The web page prototypes have been written by the direction. They are temporally hosted by an old server from the Biomolecular NMR group at ESCPE-Lyon, while waiting for a new powerfull LINUX server more adapted that would be installed not latter than  January  2004.  Be patient if the loading is slow...

2003-11-7 -  We have suggested to buy a new A0 printer in association with the other federations, and doctoral schools from the Faculty of Chemistry and Biochemistry to facilitate the printing of scientific posters. This type of service is not existing on site and should be by now externalized at high cost. The recent communication deficit of our University in the local manisfestions as the Rencontres Régionales de la Recherche organized by the regional government from Région Rhône-Alpes has motivated this suggestion.

2003-11-05 -The first Federation Council wad held on november 4, 2003. During this council, the principles of the  member charter were adopted. The investment projects were examinated and the board was in charge to start the negociations and the official procedures for a  public concurence concerning three types of equipments:

The council should state about the results not later than Janvier 2004.
